Natra’s history is backed by over 50 years, with the creation of Natra Laboratories for the extraction of natural alkaloids from cocoa.
Today, Natra is a reference multinational within Europe in the production of cocoa-derivatives and chocolate products, with particular focus on chocolate products for the distribution brands (private label) and other food companies, through the Consumer Goods Division. Natra maintains relationships with 23 of the 25 major global distribution chains worldwide, with a product portfolio including chocolate slabs, Belgian chocolates and truffles, chocolate bars and spreads. The company operates five specialized production sites in Spain, Belgium and France and has sales offices in Europe and the United States. Through its Industrial Goods Division, Natra supplies cocoa products (mainly powder and cocoa butter, as well as chocolate coating) to the international food industry. The export volume exceeds 80% of sales, with Europe and the U.S. as major markets.
Additionally, Natra controls 12.9% of Reig Jofre (previously Natraceutical), a listed company in the Spanish stock exchange, which channels its industrial activity through Laboratoires Forté Pharma.
